Same browser. The difference is where your text goes.
Chrome Enterprise Premium is Google's own answer, and for a company that wants URL filtering, malware scanning, print and screenshot protection and Zero Trust access to internal apps, it is a serious one. The question worth asking first is what happens to the paste while it is being judged.

Nothing to upload means nothing to worry about
To inspect a paste, Chrome Enterprise Premium sends it somewhere. That is a reasonable design and it buys depth — but it also means the sensitive thing you are trying to contain travels, is queued, and is subject to whatever that service does with it. Capsulla carries the rules to the browser instead, so the text that matched never leaves the machine it was typed on.
Mask it, and the work carries on
Blocking a paste stops a person mid-task, and people route around that. Capsulla can replace just the matched part — the question still reaches the assistant, the card number does not — which is usually the difference between a policy people live with and one they work around.
Worth knowing
- Both products only reach browsers that are managed. That boundary is the same for either.
- Chrome Enterprise Premium covers Chrome on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. Capsulla covers Chrome on managed browsers, and nothing outside the browser.
- Figures for other products come from their own published pages, public marketplace listings or buyer-reported medians. They are approximate and they change — if something here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
